Silver Duke of Edinburgh Expedition – May 2010

On Friday, 14th May, thirty three Year 10 girls and twenty eight Beechen Cliff boys began their camping experience for Silver Duke of Edinburgh with a mini-expedition to Cwn Du in Wales.  All students had a challenging climb and navigation training.  The completed a 12km route on Saturday.  As usual most girls were extremely well-behaved and learnt a lot.  We look forward to seeing their skills progress on Dartmoor in September.  Thanks to eleven staff who gave up their weekend to help train and keep them safe.
